The job to re-concrete our loading drive was meant to take a week. but issues with machinery and the hardness of the concrete to be removed turned it into two. But the work crew were extremally helpful keeping us updated and helping with delivery's where they could. The crew that worked here always had a happy smile and joke to tell even when things were going wrong. we had logistical issues during the second week but the attitude of the whole crew made us not so stressed.

A good experience from start to finish. A very helpful lady dealt with my initial enquiry and Jason was prompt to come out and assess the job and offer a solution. A complex task, as my surface water soakaway had failed and the only solution was to lay pipework to a borehole soakaway outside the property boundary. This was complicated as an area of trees had to be removed. Jason's team managed the whole process, including the tree work and he and his colleague Oliver dealt with all the agencies. Communications with APEC were polite and helpful throughout the process. Thanks also to Oscar and Alex who did a great job on site and persevered, even in the face of some very stubborn tree roots!! The site was left very neat and the team ensured that disruption to neighbours was minimal. Thank you again.

Ben and Adrian have been truly brilliant both in terms of workmanship, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and also just having around the house. We have thoroughly enjoyed having them here, for their support explaining what was happing etc and their general manner and humour. Our neighbours have also commented how nice they are. They’ve made what was a very unpleasant experience for us (underground oil leak) into a not so unpleasant one. They are a credit to your company. In fact, all the guys that have been here from time to time (truck driver, the chap when Adrian was off) have all been great.

Added to that we are delighted with what they have done.... both the MEL related works and our patio which we arranged for you to do separately.

Broome PC in partnership with Broome Village Hall engaged AGL to connect the village hall to the main sewerage system.
They took all the worry of licences and road closers away from us. The job was started and finished on the promised dates.
The car park , which had to be dug up was reinstated to it's original good condition.

Our project has been a new house in South Norfolk built to Passive House standards which we have built on a package by package basis. AGL were the first in, installing an insulated ground slab, foul and surface drainage including sewage treatment and a large rainwater storage tank. They then came back when the exterior was finished to set up the structure of our garden, with curved brick walls, brick paths and driveway. Lee and his colleagues were totally unfazed by new challenges we set them and as groundwork contractors it's heartening to see their pride in these visible manifestations of their efforts.

Apec Groundworks went above and beyond with advice about installing new drainage in my driveway. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Ben and Lee were on time, polite and tidy and are an extremely hard working Team. I will use this company again and would highly recommend them. A professional company!

APEC fitted us in very quickly after surface water flooding of our drive and house. The initial contact was with a very polite, efficient and pleasant receptionist who was a real encouragement with a can-do attitude.
The workmen who came were a real credit to the firm. They were friendly, hard -working and above all open to all our preferences and questions. In addition they charmed our six year old grandson.
The ACO drains were neat and beautifully finished. There is a lot of skill invested in this firm. The men left everything neat and tidy. We could not have wished for a better experience. Highly recommended.

From my initial contact through to the completion of a technically challenging project, my experience of AGL was first class. Jason's aim is to make sure that all work is completed to a high standard, with no shortcuts, and to the full satisfaction of the customer. That attutude is reflected through all the staff at AGL that I came in contact with.

My garden patio was slowly sliding into an adjacent ditch and AGL carefully planned a solution to shore up the ditch walls using custom made steels and huge reinforced concrete slabs. Further work included lifting and relaying a patio area and new fencing. In all, 2.5 weeks work.

The installation team, supervised by Lee were excellent, they were punctual and always cheerful, helpful and motivated. I was kept informed at every stage of the works and they often checked that everything was to my satisfaction. I probably made a nuisance of myself as I am very particular, but every request I made was received with a willingness to oblige and make sure the finished job was exactly as I wanted. The levels of workmanship and attention to detail were excellent.

Having a 14 ton digger on the drive operating a couple of inches away from the house with 600kg concrete slabs hanging from it is scary, but the skill and care taken by the driver reassured me it was in good hands. I am very pleased with the finished job, and AGL have left the site looking very tidy, with nothing left for me to do and even though there was a lot of heavy machinery on site, nothing was damaged. If I ever need any construction works in the future, AGL will be my first port of call.

We had a need to completely rearrange the drainage to put our property on to mains drainage. Working closely with the Team at APEC Groundworks, a comprehensive plan was devised and subsequently executed to provide a seamless transfer of services to mains drainage. The Team on site for the work were most efficient and kept us well informed at every step of the way, rising to some unexpected technical issues (such as some completely unexpected foundations right in the way from what must have been an old building we didn’t even know about) which needed to be resolved. And the site, after all the works, actually looks far better than it was before which is an added bonus! All in all, a most professional job carried out to a very high standard. As an Engineer myself, the good workmanship and attention to detail speaks for itself. Well done to the Team is all I can say! An excellent job all round – and for less than I’d budgeted for!

AGL have just finished working on our garden after 5 days on site. The work included; decking, artificial grass, paving and resurfacing our driveway. I commend the team for excellence throughout the project. we asked APEC to quote for approximately 70 meters of new fencing due to storm damage. whilst they were not the cheapest quote we had, i am so pleased that we asked them to do the work. They were very organised and the team worked like Trojans. despite the weather being very warm they just got on with it. The team were polite and demonstrated on numerous occasions that the cared for what they were doing. This was reflected in the finished project. Fantastic.

The great focus on health and safety, the considered measures to mitigate risk at the moment during the pandemic, the skill and quality of work (I was supposed to love my house the most, we now live in the garden) We had a previous awful experience with a builder where we are going through legal proceedings, APEC restored my faith entirely (thanks for the counselling Jason) so we ended up awarding more work than we first intended and we couldn't be more pleased. We commissioned APEC for installation of highway passing bay and associated crossover with culvert pipe together with a main highway sewer connection in compliance with planning consent for new development site. Jason, Oliver, Craig and the team obtained road closure permits in record time, cracked on with the main works in the run-up to Christmas and top dressed in January. Unexpected adjacent Anglian Water main water valve and hydrant works did not phase the onsite crew who soothed neighbours while maintaining steady progress. Job well done - just leaves us with the easy stuff encouraging County Council and District Council to inspect and sign-off in a timely manner. Anglian Water helpfully signed off without delay.

We used APEC on our job in Woodbridge. Lee kept us fully up to date daily and also had a great rapport with the neighbours who all sang their praises. This site was extremely tight, in width and location and neighbours needed access 24/7 and APEC always went out their way to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum. We would not hesitate to use APEC for future projects. Always reliable, honest, hard working and punctual.

There was a longstanding issue at Gapton Hall Retail Park with traffic affecting the operation of the park for shoppers over a number of years. A new entrance road was proposed including the diversion of major utilities.

The works were undertaken at one of the busiest times in the year, however AGL effectively managed the traffic in and out of the park ensuring the car park and shops were not affected.

They managed to complete the works ahead of programme despite the challenging conditions on site.

The works included a new entrance road, alterations to the road layout including new street furniture and new signage. The quality of work was fantastic.

The new entrance road has now transformed the traffic management within the retail park and also the local area. I would like to thank AGL for the great success.

APEC Groundworks LTD built a large retaining wall for Colchester Institute. APEC is a very professional company, who were incredibly informative, helpful and respectful throughout the entire project. Craig and his team conducted themselves in a professional & polite manner at all times. The quality of the Stepoc block retaining wall was finished to a high standard and in a safe manner. The site was left in a tidy condition and all of APEC equipment, materials and waste material was cleared promptly. APEC Groundworks LTD is a top class company who I would highly recommend.

APEC was commissioned to install a new soakaway drainage system for a detached house. They quoted quickly and the work was commissioned with a mid October start to get the work done before winter. The weather wasn't kind, there were some tree stumps needing removal to facilitate installation and Building Control needed to be involved. The project was completed in 4 days, without drama and reinstated. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them and I'm a retired Chartered Surveyor.

I contacted Jason last Saturday 2nd Feb for help regarding a location of a rising main sewer in my garden. Anglian water have stopped me building my extension until it was found. Jason responded quickly and took my details. On the Monday he called to say he would be on site Tuesday to do a survey. Jason arrived Tuesday and using his pipe detection equipment quickly found the pipes location and took photos and marked the pipe run for me. An email report with pictures arrived via e mail that night which was forwarded to Anglian Water and they have accepted the report. i am hoping by the end of this week i will gain permision to start work.
I cant recommend Jason and his team enough they were the only company i found willing to help and even offered me a digger to dig my foundations. Refreshing to find a company that will go out of there way to help.

Jason and his team completed a large permeable footpath construction for us on time and in budget and the works were managed safely to allow a public right of way to be maintained throughout.
